Alicia Tappan

Executive Director

Alicia holds a Masters in International Psychology and a Bachelors in Conjuctive Psychology. Along with extensive work within the following; trauma, co-morbidity of depression, anxiety, trauma among female rape victims, and commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), Alicia, also has a background in group home care and adoption. Her passion for these anti-human trafficking efforts, has led her to collaborate with schools, non-profits and with community involvement for mentoring, education, and spreading awareness. Another area of accomplishment within Human Trafficking locally, has been her central role in our Circuit 1 Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as establishing the A-team, for A21 Pensacola. She has simultaneously established the Pensacola Dream Center, as a Board member and full time volunteer staff. From victim to survivor and advocate to professional, Alicia, is a welcomed new member of The Secret Place Home team.
